Design
Our Farmhouse range boasts the thickest seat we offer with a deeper carving to complement. In addition, the stool is supported by more substantial oak legs for a solid, sturdy frame while keeping a minimal design aesthetic. We always try to select the widest pieces of oak for the tops of our stools, showcasing the natural material with its continuously flowing grain patterns. Very rarely are such wide pieces used in modern furniture making - your new furniture will be truly unique.
Soft pads are fitted to the feet of each leg to protect your floor.
All our furniture is handcrafted in our bespoke workshop located in Beccles, Suffolk with timber sourced from a local sawmill.
Material
Character oak refers to the grade of the timber, celebrated for its natural beauty and distinctive features. The cracks, splits and knots are carefully stabilised with epoxy resin, ensuring a smooth, durable surface. As a natural material, no two pieces are ever identical - each stool will have its own unique grain patterns, knots, joints and colour variations.
